Digital Photography For My Wedding Day

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

One option that many couples are considering is having a friend or family member that knows something about photography to capture the wedding with a digital camera on my wedding day. The huge advantage is that since the shot can be seen immediately with a digital camera and redone if needed, the person taking the photos does not necessarily have to be a professional.

Taking digital photographs are easy and quick. The key is using the right type of digital camera, one intended for professional results. While a non-professional can buy a good quality digital camera for $500, if a professional will be using this type of camera, typically, these high-end digital cameras range in price from $3,500 to $7,000 or more. However, for the price, they have high resolution and pixel size, providing the photographer with all the necessary settings and options for quality photographers.

Additionally, with this type of camera, the photographer has more options for being creative. As an example, he or she can change angles, cropping, lighting, and so on. You will also discover that the quality is outstanding. Another huge advantage is that the images captured on the digital camera can be uploaded to a computer or CD. This means for family members or friends living far away and not able to attend the wedding, they can receive a copy of the wedding and see it as though they were there in person.

Graco Stroller recalls

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Children’s products manufacturer, Graco, has issued a massive product defect recall for about 1.5 million strollers because they pose a risk of fingertip amputations and cuts to young children. CNN reports that this product safety recall includes specific models of strollers and travel systems including Graco Passage, Alano and Spree strollers and travel systems. So far, Graco and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have received five reports of children’s fingertips being cut off by the defective hinges that open or close the stroller canopies. Also, there were two reports of children who suffered lacerations when they placed their fingers in the canopy hinge mechanism. This is a severe personal injury case in L.A. because you never know what your little one is going to do, but you certainly don’t want to put them in harms way.

Save Your Back When Changing Diapers

Friday, February 12th, 2010

When you are changing your baby’s diaper, you don’t want to have to reach and bend over too much when handling the baby. It’s a sure way to hurt your back. It’s also potentially dangerous to the baby if you throw out your back when you pick him up. A good way to make sure the baby is at the proper height for changing is by using a changing table dresser when you change the baby. The other benefit is that the dresser part of the changing table will give you ample room for all the changing supplies you need as well as a fresh supply of diapers.

Bad Karma

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

My dog is barking all the time and driving me crazy. She is such a bad girl. Her name is Karma and she can be good or bad, ha ha. Anyway, this is not really about the nutty dog but about my little sister Alyson. She’s 15 and used to tell me all her secrets but doesn’t seem to want to anymore. She is way too thin and I am starting to think she my have some sort of eating disorder but I don’t know how to get her to tell me about it. I know she just broke up with he boyfriend, so maybe its just temporary thing.
