Graco Stroller recalls

Children’s products manufacturer, Graco, has issued a massive product defect recall for about 1.5 million strollers because they pose a risk of fingertip amputations and cuts to young children. CNN reports that this product safety recall includes specific models of strollers and travel systems including Graco Passage, Alano and Spree strollers and travel systems. So far, Graco and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have received five reports of children’s fingertips being cut off by the defective hinges that open or close the stroller canopies. Also, there were two reports of children who suffered lacerations when they placed their fingers in the canopy hinge mechanism. This is a severe personal injury case in L.A. because you never know what your little one is going to do, but you certainly don’t want to put them in harms way.
