Well, some say that Intel is better, others AMD. AMD has been always cheaper in my experiences, but it depends on your preference…. I don’t know, I think they’re about equal, but I’m an Intel fan my self.

Overall good video but, if your not a gamer than you don’t really a 680i SLI motherboard, and if you dont do anything really graphic intensive than why spend 200$ on a video card?

u know when u build …
u know when u build ur own.. a 1000 dollars computer is a real good computer.
just when u buy piece, make sure the piece are compatible. exemple a motherboard that have already a sound card.. so dont spend on the sound card.
or a processor that goes with the motherboard… i dont know that much but make sure its compatible.

Why is a power supply optional? And also I have a radeon 9600 pro, which I bought as an upgrade for my xp, if I built my own computer could I use 2 graphics.
I would never sell the radeon as I would get less then half I paid for it.

It’s worth getting a nice case if you want a quiet PC.
The Cool Master HAF 932 case is quite nice, and newegg has it for about $170.
