Just saw them live …
Just saw them live last night… truly amazing in person. as awesome as this is, it was infinitely better live! Her voice is outstANDING! They had the bass way way up, you could feel the vibrations through your body, and it was beautiful and awesome. She reminds me soo much of the mutant glitter-encrusted baby of bjork, pj harvey and enya. love it!

How can someone …
How can someone compare her voice with Bjork’s? Bjork sings so different, different to anything! Bat for lashes’ voice sounds nice, but it’s totally mainstream, sounds like many others.

Can anyone imagine 0:00-1:26 being used in a trailer for a tense spy thriller/ crime film? I can, completely, especially when the guitar comes in a breath before she starts singing.
