Does anyone know a good site to find detailed information on history?

I have to write an essay about the British Orders in Council in 1806. I have my text book and an outline which breaks it down in order of events but I need more information. I’ve research it but have failed to find good sites with detailed information. Does anyone know of any good sites? Please help me if you can.

The Acts, Orders in Council, &c. of Great Britain [on Trade], 1793 – 1812

In November 1806 Napoleon Berlin Decree attempted to exclude British trade from the continent. the British government replied with the orders in council, using the emergency powers of the sovereign, approved by the Privy Council. the orders of November and December 1807 declared a blockade of any harbour that excluded British commerce. the USA protested strongly and its resentment was one of the causes of the War of 1812.
