Where would be a good site to find information on herbs?

I’m looking for a website that will give me information on the biochemical properties of various herbs, and also a site for finding information about the physiological effect of these herbs.
Are any of you strange enough to have information about this?

http://www.botanical.com/ is the site I most often start with. It has alot of folkloric info as well as info on active constituents.

Then I look at http://www.herbmed.org/index.asp and http://www.personalhealthzone.com/herbsafety.html

for drug interactions and counterindications.

    It is a government site.
