Could you help me find a web site with info about deaths in Iraq?
I was just wondering if there was a site where the deaths in Iraq were divided into;
1)Deaths due to direct contact with the enemy, fire fights, IED, ect.
2) Deaths do to routine activities gone wrong. example: accidental death due to maintenence on a veihcle like a truck that slipped off it’s jack, or being shocked while troublshooting an electrical problem, ect. In other words, a death that occured while preforming a duty the soldier would have been preforming here it the USA as part of their job.
To PM4, Thank you, this was exactly what I was looking for.
To Golden, Thanks, good info, the civilian totals are very interesting as well
To Tom s: Interesting Idea, what the hell did it have to do with the question I asked?
Hi Boobear: I’m very happy and thankful we have men like your husband in the world. Thank you for you answer, I look forward to the info.
to Pablo: I’m not sure where you were going with your statement, please post your questions to the forum.
to United_Peace: Intresting info, not exactly what I was looking for though. I’ll sift through it though.

You liberals are making it too complicated. We should just kill them all and take their oil.. Maybe turn iraq into a retirement country for our elderly.. it is warm there.
You ask what does my comment have to do with your question. Well, if we kill all those bastards, there will be no need for knowing how many have died. We can just say, ALL OF THEM!

Compare other USA war conflicts to the casualties you find from othe answers and ask yourself have we done enough to fight terrorism. Have we done enough to bring a peace to Iraq. Are we willing to take it to the enemies of domestic peace in Iraq. I have more questions than answers.

After a nice Mother’s Day lunch, this is not the news I’d hoped to read:
http://observer.guardian.co.uk/world/story/0,,2078422,00.html
I feel uncomfortable to have to face the fact that Bush has left so many of American mothers with the horrible truth of no longer being able to celebrate Mother’s Day with their dead sons or daughters!
Why is the media keep screaming about Al-Qaedas in Iraq when world news are signaling out the murderers of the Shia Militias and their Death Squads? Why is our government so soft on the anti-American al-Sadr terrorists? Is the Iraqi Government leading us on a wild goose-chase while the spies within the Iraqi Troops or police force giving information to the al-Sadr Militia to ambush our Troops?
Are American Troop-killers actually expanding out of the al-Sadr Shia sectors with supporters, blindly trained by us?

Good grief, how can we, mothers, really celebrate Mother’s Day when the mothers of 3394 American dead soldiers have to weep! Like I’ve told my children. Mother’s Day tiday should be a day of mourning with the 3394 Mothers of the Dead as the reasult of Bush’s War.
